Robert Pattinson is cast as Batman in the upcoming film "The Batman".

In a surprise move it appears as though actor Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, Twilight) will be suiting up as the new Caped Crusader in the upcoming Matt Reeves directed Batman film The Batman. Pattinson is taking over the role of Batman after Ben Affleck hung up the cowl.

What are your thoughts on Pattinson suiting up as Batman? I wouldn't be so quick to rule him out and demand a recast as the casting of comedy actor Michael Keaton seemed like a joke to a lot of people back in 1989 for the film "Batman".
