While DC Comics was at WonderCon they shared a lot of exciting news with fans. One of the big reveals was actress Brec Bassinger in costume as Courtney Whitmore, aka Stargirl, for the upcoming Stargirl television series for DC Universe. You can see Bassinger as Stargirl below.
Stargirl is said to center around Courtney Whitmore who is a struggling high schooler who discovers that her stepfather was Starman’s sidekick, Stripesy. Using his Cosmic Staff, Courtney becomes Stargirl and brings together a group of heroes to fight off villains.
