James Mangold is set to direct a new Star Wars film based on Boba Fett.

This is it Star Wars fans! The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that writer-director James Mangold is set to create a film based on the Star Wars bounty hunter Boba Fett. James Mangold is most recently known for his incredible work on the X-Men film Logan.

Rumors have circulated for some time that there could be a Boba Fett film but it looks like fans will finally be getting their wish. Although there are no details on the film just yet I think it would be a safe bet to assume the film will be based on how Boba Fett rose in the ranks of bounty hunters and became the feared bounty hunter that we meet in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
