Marvel reveals Thanos' real name in new comic.

Thanos is one of Marvel Comics' biggest villains and he is about to become the biggest villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, before this mad Titan took on the name "Thanos", he was a child born on the planet Titan and was given a completely different name.

In the newest issue of Thanos, issue #14, creators Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, Antonio Fabela and Clayton Cowles reveal his real name by having Thanos from a million years into the future come back to talk to his younger self and remind him of his past.

It turns out that on her death bed, Thanos' mother, Sui-San, named her son Dione. It's not exactly a name that would strike fear in people but I am sure that is the point.
