Exclusive photo of Jason Mamoa as Aquaman is released for the upcoming Aquaman solo film.

Thank you, Entertainment Weekly! Fans have a new look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman and first impressions are that they are loving it. This photo is coming from director James Wan's Aquaman film. Aquaman definitely looks mad, determined, or a combination of both here.

Speaking about his character, Jason Momoa stated,

"“Justice League was only a weekend in Arthur Curry’s life. This is a totally different beast. In Aquaman, you see when his parents met and what happened to hem. Then the little boy being raised and finding his powers and going through that and never being accepted on either side. And then becoming this man who puts up all these walls. You just slowly see this man harden up and be completely reluctant wanting to be king and not knowing what to do with these powers he has. I think James Wan just killed it.”"

This is a much different tone and look to the character than what we saw in Justice League. Are you on board with Aquaman?

Aquaman will be in theaters on December 21, 2018.
