First trailer for the Syfy DC series Krypton takes us back before Superman's planet was destroyed.

The first trailer has been released for the Syfy hopeful series Krypton and it isn't half bad. Krypton has not yet been ordered to series by Syfy but if the reaction from this trailer is positive with fans then who knows.

Man of Steel writer David Goyer will serve as the show's executive producer and it will star Cameron Cuffe as Kal-El’s grandfather Seg-El. Along for the ride is Georgina Campbell (King Arthur) as Lyta Zod, a member of Krypton’s military and the daughter of General Alura Zod.

The show is set 200 years before Man of Steel but it is important to note that the show is not directly tied to the film or the DC Extended Universe. I am very interested to see more and excited to see what Superman fans think of this first peak at the show. Enjoy.
