First poster for the animated Castlevania series heading to Netflix is released.

Director Adi Shankar has just released the first poster for the upcoming animated series Castlevania which is set to debut on Netflix later in 2017.

Netflix is describing the series as following "the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself."

Furthermore, Adi Shankar has stated that the show will partly be an adaptation of the NES game Castlevania III: Dracula Curse and described the show as being in the same vein as Game of Thrones and will be rated R.

Castlevania Season 1, Part 1 will stream on Netflix later this year and will consist of four 30 minute episodes.
