Star Wars - Episode VIII gets an official logo and title - Star Wars: The Last Jedi!
Disney has just revealed the official title and logo (seen above) for Star Wars - Episode VIII! The upcoming film will be titled Star Wars: The Last Jedi!
WOW!
There are so many questions that arise from this. As you can see from the logo, they've gone from the yellow Star Wars outline to a red outline which is usually associated with the Sith. Could this title and color mean that the Sith rise up and eliminate all the Jedi? Maybe they eliminate all the Jedi but one (kill Luke Skywalker but Rey survives)? We should also remember that "Jedi" is both singular and plural so is this title simply referring to both Luke and Rey, their training together, and their fight against the Dark Side? There is so much potential and so much to be excited about!
What do you think about this new title? Who do you think the "Last Jedi" is?
A big shout out and thank you to my friend Derrpi for giving me the heads up on this!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in theaters on December 15, 2017.
