New Supergirl season 2 trailer features new footage of Superman and mentions Gotham!

The CW's DC universe just got a little bigger in the newest trailer for Supergirl. Not only does this trailer show some amazing new footage from the second season, much of it with Superman, but it mentions an iconic DC city that hasn't made its way to this universe yet; Gotham. Could this be a simple name drop or could this be the seeds to bring Batman, or at least Bruce Wayne, to the CW's DC universe?
