Joe Manganiello is confirmed to play Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's Batman film.

Ben Affleck recently shared a set video of Deathstroke in full gear and it excited fans everywhere. However, there was no information to go with it. Until now.

DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns has revealed to the Wall Street Journal that actor Joe Manganiello (True Blood) will be playing Deathstroke in the next Batman film and that it was Manganiello in the video wearing the full gear.

"DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns confirmed the casting in his first interview discussing his new role overseeing Warner Bros.’ movies based on DC Comics characters."

Now that we have confirmation that Deathstroke is in the next Batman film and that actor Joe Manganiello will be playing him, how does everyone feel about this? I think that he definitely has the out of costume look for the character but I am wondering if he is as agile as the character needs to be in both speed and combat style. Maybe they'll have a stunt double do a lot of his in costume fight scenes? Who knows. What do you guys think?
