The 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return to fight alongside the current Nickelodeon team. Watch the first clip!

Get ready for an all new crossover event for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Similar to the popular 2009 TV movie, Turtles Forever, two incarnations of the Turtles team will be meeting each other. In Turtles Forever the 2003 Turtles team up with both the 1987 cartoon Turtles as well as the original 1984 comic Turtles. This time around the current 2012 team will be teaming up with the classic 1987 cartoon team in both the 1987 2D world and the current 2016 3D world.

The episode is titled "Trans-Dimensional Turtles" and will air on Nickelodeon on March 27, 2016. No word yet if other Turtle teams will be popping up but if they do I feel the episode becomes dangerously close to copying Turtles Forever.
