J.K. Simmons is cast as Commissioner Gordon in DC's Justice League film.

It has been announced today that director Zack Snyder has cast actor J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man) as Commissioner Gordon (police commissioner of Gotham City) in the upcoming Justice League film. This is a very unexpected move but Simmons is an amazing actor who could bring a lot to the role.

There are no details yet as to what the character will be doing in the film but it feels safe to say that Simmons will be back for the solo Batman film when that starts being filmed. Are you excited to see Simmons as Commissioner Gordon?
