Mattel Ghostbusters 2016 toy line revealed at Toy Fair New York as well as the new film's unexpected villain.

PixelDan was able to get an up close look at the upcoming toy line for the new Ghostbusters film. This video walk through will show off the Ghostbusters themselves, a toy proton pack, a line of 6 inch ghosts and mini figures as well.

One unexpected thing however was a reveal of who the film's bad guy may be.

It appears as though the villain is named Rowan and is based on the "No Ghosts" logo. When I originally say photo of this guy floating around I assumed it was just a playful figure for the No Ghosts logo and a playful nod to the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, but apparently this is a villain in the film. Now it may seem extremely silly but it is hard to judge this character so out of context. For the moment I am holding judgement but I really hope that an explanation comes soon now that this information in out there.



Ghostbusters will be in theaters on July 15, 2016.
