The Shannara Chronicles released an amazing new trailer at NYCC. Get ready for the adventure!

A brand new trailer for MTV's The Shannara Chronicles was released at New York Comic Con and fans are definitely excited. I wouldn't have expected this how to be coming out of MTV but the more I see of it the better it looks. The series is based on the popular novels from author Terry Brooks and will have 10 episodes in it's first season. The show combines all the mythical races that we love from novels such as The Lord of the Rings while giving it a unique feel with gorgeous views and great music.

"Set thousands of years after the destruction of our civilization, the story follows an Elven Princess, Amberle, a half-human half-elf, Wil, and a human, Eretria, as they embark on a quest to stop a Demon army from destroying the Four Lands."
