Marvel reveals the official synopsis for their upcoming Netflix series Luke Cage!

After some rumors and speculation, Marvel has officially released the synopsis for their upcoming show Luke Cage that will be airing on Netflix.

Official synopsis:

"After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city–forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury."

This synopsis may seem vague but it confirms Harlem as the setting for the show while giving fans Luke's driving plot for the series. I am very interested to see how this show shapes up and what kind of story they will be looking to tell with it. Are you excited for Luke Cage?

Luke Cage will be available on Netflix in 2016.
