The Arrow and The Flash spinoff Legends of Tomorrow gets its first trailer and behind-the-scenes featurette!

The television DC universe is getting ready to expand on the CW and the first trailer and behind-the-scenes featurette have been released to prove it. The new trailer for Legends of Tomorrow brings together heroes and villains from the Arrow and The Flash franchises to fight together to stop an ultimate force of evil. The new team will consist of White Canary, The Atom, Hawkgirl, Captain Cold, Heatwave, and Firestorm. There will of course be crossovers where the Flash and the Arrow join their ranks as well. This team will go toe to toe with the DC villain Vandal Savage who will have to be battled around the globe as well as time.

Legends of Tomorrow will star Victor Garber (The Flash), Dominic Purcell (The Flash), Wentworth Miller (The Flash), Brandon Routh (Arrow), Caity Lotz (Arrow), Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who), Ciarra Renee (Pippin), and Franz Drameh (Edge of Tomorrow).

Show synopsis:

"When heroes alone are not enough ... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and  villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"
