Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy confirms a new Indiana Jones will be made!
When Disney bought Lucasfilm from George Lucas we knew that they acquired the film right to the Indiana Jones franchise. There have been a lot of rumors lately that Disney would be making a new film and were possibly looking to cast actor Chris Pratt as Indiana Jones.
Although we may still not know who will be playing him a new interview conducted by Vanity Fair with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy reveals that a new Indiana Jones film will eventually be made.
"In buying the company, Disney also got rights, for better or worse, to less-storied Lucasfilm properties, among them Willow and Radioland Murders. A bigger prize is the Indiana Jones franchise. Kennedy confirmed rumors that another Indy movie ‘will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.'"I think we all knew that a new Indiana Jones film would come sooner or later but now we have confirmation that it is being done. All the company needs now is a story for our hero and then it looks like they'll move forward with it. Would you be excited to see a new Indiana Jones film be made? Who would you cast as the lead?
