First image of Allison Williams as Peter Pan is released for NBC's Peter Pan Live!
Last year, NBC aired a live production of The Sound of Music which received smash hit ratings. This December, NBC will be looking to recapture that magic by airing Peter Pan Live!
This new production will star actress Allison Williams as Peter Pan. Williams follows the classic theatrical trend of casting a female in the role of Peter Pan. Previous incarnations of Peter Pan had Cathy Rigby, Sandy Duncan, and Mary Martin take the role.
Allison Williams has released on her Instagram page the first official image of herself as Peter Pan and she looks amazing. We see her sitting on a ship’s mast all ready to go. She commented on the picture that "I was all ready to cut my hair, then was told by the folks who actually know what they’re doing that a wig works better for everybody." Allison Williams’ Peter Pan seems to have a bit of a trendier look to him but it still looks great! Take a look at Allison Williams in the photo below and let me know what you think of her look.
