DC vs Marvel in a 2016 box office weekend brawl - Batman vs Superman vs Captain America!

Fans were shocked and upset when Warner Bros. and DC pushed back the release date of the "Batman vs Superman" film to May 6, 2016. Things became even more interesting when it was noticed that there was an untitled Marvel film set to be released on this day as well. Marvel president Kevin Feige issued a statement that he would stick to this release date even though it meant that his film would go up against the much anticipated DC film.

When you look at the situation why should Marvel back down and change their release date. They had set it before Warner Bros. decided to push back the "Batman vs Superman" film from July 2015 to May 6, 2016.

Well the wait is over as it has finally been revealed what the untitled Marvel film will be. To fans' surprise, the Marvel film being released on May 6, 2016 is Captain America 3! Rumors are saying that this new film could bring another huge Captain America storyline to the big screen. Could it be "Man Without A Country"? "The Death of a Dream"? Either way, this will mark a monumental event for comic book films. Not only will that weekend see Superman meet Batman, an event that DC fans have been waiting years for, but it'll also have the duo go toe to toe against Captain America at the box office.
