The Doctor and Sherlock Holmes meet in this impressive Doctor Who / Sherlock crossover video!

A large portion of Doctor Who fans out there also happen to be fans of Steven Moffat's other BBC hit series Sherlock about the famed detective himself, Sherlock Holmes. This cross fandom has become so widespread that it even has its own term for its fans, "Wholock". These fans have speculated what it would be like for the two heroes, the Doctor and Sherlock Holmes, to actually meet on a continuous basis and lock to come up with theories on the subject.

One dedicated fan, "John Smith", has created an extremely impressive crossover video where the two characters finally meet and I know that fans will love it! He used footage of Matt Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch from their respective shows along with audio files to create his video and the end result is truly spectacular. 

"Months after an encounter with a mysterious 'Doctor', Sherlock becomes obsessed with discovering more about this impossible man... until the man makes an unexpected return."

In anticipation of both the Doctor Who Christmas Special and the Third Series of Sherlock, I created a small crossover story. Though it may not be perfect, I'm still pretty happy with the results."

I have to admit that I have never seen Sherlock but I am a huge fan of the character Sherlock Holmes and of Doctor Who. Even still this video really impressed me! Enjoy!
