Nintendo shocks fans with great new Zelda title for Wii U - Hyrule Warriors! [video]

Nintendo held one of their Nintendo Direct presentations today dropped a bombshell right at the start of the presentation. Satoru Iawata, the President of Nintendo, announced an all new game for The Legend of Zelda. This new game however will not be a normal Zelda title that will fit into the franchise storyline. This new title is being created in collaboration with Tecmo Koei, who created the Dynasty Warriors video games. The Dynasty Warriors games are a tactical action based game and Nintendo is looking to bring that to the Zelda universe. The new game is currently being called "Hyrule Warriors" although that is subject to change. The teaser trailer that was revealed shows off Link battling numerous enemies including Moblins and King Dodongo. Link definitely has some powerful moves in this game and it'll be fun to see how they can all be used in battle. You even see some of the Hyrule Guard running around trying to get in on the action.

I'm definitely excited to see how this game turns out to be and if players will get to fight as any other characters. Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think!
