Star Wars officially enters Once Upon A Time In Wonderland! [video]

The shows Once Upon A Time and Once Upon A Time In Wonderland have been doing a good job at bringing in every character and Disney franchise they can think of into their shows even if it is just a small reference. It's clear that they are looking to open up their shows' universe and create more worlds that the characters can hop into. In this week's episode of Once Upon A Time In Wonderland they officially brought in the Star Wars franchise. That's right! Most people probably missed it as it was sneaky and subtle.

I was watching the show today and had to watch the scene twice to make sure I had heard correctly. When I realized I did I quickly recorded the scene and put it onto my YouTube channel. It may be a weird crossover but whether you like it or not it actually makes sense in this universe that they have created.

While talking to Jafar and flipping through a book of evil creatures that could potentially attack Alice, the Red Queen turns a page and says, "Ah yes, the sarlaac. This will digest her over a millennia. Plenty of time to make a wish." It's a subtle reference for some but Star Wars fans will know that there is only one sarlaac out there and it's from Star Wars - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi! Think there will be other Star Wars references in the show?
