First trailer for Need For Speed film adaptation hits the web! [video]

The first trailer for the film adaptation of the video game Need for Speed has just been released and ... well it's been released. It's clear that the movie will have some pretty awesome cars and race scenes (but hey so did The Fast and the Furious) but I am not completely sold on this film just yet. I'm looking to see something that will make this film stand out and not seem generic. The trailer does show some scenes that look like great adaptations from races in the games though which is awesome. I'll wait to see a little more whether I decide I'll see this film or not. Need For Speed will star Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul as the lead character Tobey.  

"Framed for a crime he didn't commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey (Aaron Paul) gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man responsible for his false conviction."

Need For Speed is set to hit theaters on March 14, 2014.
