Concept art from The Legend of Zelda shows Link as an adult and old man!

The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's biggest video game franchises and as the protagonist Link is one of the most recognizable Nintendo characters. Fans have seen Link as a young boy (Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, The Phantom Hourglass, ect.) and we have seen Link as a young man (Ocarina of Time, The Adventure of Link, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword). The one thing gamers have never truly seen is Link as an adult. (Yes, the skeletal warrior from Twilight Princess who teaches Link his new moves could be the adult version of Link from Ocarina of Time but since we see him as a skeleton fans don't truly count that.)

Fans can now take a look at 6 pieces of truly fascinating concept art from artist Katsuya Terada that features an adult Link as well as an elderly Link! It is not clear if these images ever went past his sketch pad but I think it would be really interesting to see a game where the player gets to control an older Link that has grown up in battle. It is also cool to see a new take on Link's tunic and overall outfit.
