Teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins looks better than the recent movies! [video]
Fans can get their first look at the upcoming prequel game to the Batman: Arkham series Batman: Arkham Origins! A short teaser trailer has been released and it shows us an incredible cinematic fight sequence between Batman and Deathstroke. To be honest, the ten seconds of fighting shown in this teaser is better than the whole Dark Knight series. I am so excited for this game.
The creators of the original Arkham games, RockSteady, did not return to create this game. They choose to hand the reins to WB Games Montréal who look to be handling things very well. The original Arkham series writer, Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series) also did not return. Writing this game is Dooma Wendschuch and Corey May who had input from Geoff Johns.
It is being reported that Batman: Arkham Origins will take place during Batman's second year of crime-fighting and that it will be on Christmas Eve night. Since it is only Batman's second year of crime-fighting, the Gotham City Police are still unsure of how to view Batman. This could bring an interesting twist to the game. Deathstroke will also be the first "villain" that Batman faces since putting on the suit. It's also being said that you'll be able to travel in your Batwing, Batman's airplane, for faster travel across the city! I love this addition.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on all major consoles on October 25, 2013.
