Another member of the Batman family dies!

Recently, DC had killed off Damian Wayne, Bruce Wayne's son, who was the current Robin. The event had been known prior to the comic hitting the stands but fans were still shocked when they finally got the book in the hands and got to read it for themselves.

It seems however that DC was not done killing off members of the Batman family. Unknown to fans until the comic hit the stands, another member of the Batman family was killed off in a manner that is undoubtedly gruesome. The death occurred in Justice League of America #4

That's right! Catwoman has been shot and killed! Shot at point blank directly in the head. The big question when it comes to comic deaths is "How long will the death stand?" Well it seems like this one could last a little while. The preview for the next issue reads:

"Reeling from the traumatic death following issue #4’s cliffhanger, the ‘world’s most dangerous team’ discovers what the Secret Society is ultimately after -- and who they are."

I didn't see this coming and I am sure that a lot of Catwoman fans out there are as surprised as I am. With a bullet through the head, the writers will have to get pretty creative to explain how she can come back to life in the comics. That's if she comes back to life.
