First official look at David Bradley as William Hartnell for Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary!
For the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, the BBC has decided to create a special that tells the story of how the show all got started back in 1963. The special will be titled An Adventure in Space and Time and will be written by Mark Gatiss. Actor David Bradley has been cast as William Hartnell who played the First Doctor. Until now fans have only seen a glimpse of what Bradley would look like as Hartnell.
"Bradley says when Gatiss offered him the part, “I almost bit his hand off.” " Now that is quite a reaction. Fan can now take look at the first official image of Bradley as Hartnell sitting beside Lesley Manville who is playing Hartnell's wife, Heather. I think the photo looks great!
