Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in first The Lone Ranger photo!

Jerry Bruckheimer has released the first promotional photo for his upcoming movie, The Lone Ranger. The photo gives us our first glance at both Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in costume. Depp will be portraying the Native American warrior Tonto and Hammer will be suiting up as the masked hero of the story, the Lone Ranger.

"The Lone Ranger is a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice — taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption."

This isn't the look I was expecting but the two look pretty good in their wardrobe (even though I don't really see Johnny Depp as a Native American).

Being released by Walt Disney Pictures, The Lone Ranger will hit theaters on May31, 2013.
