30th Anniversary of Potters' Deaths
Today, October 31, 2011, marks the 30th anniversary of the day that two great literary characters died; Lily and James Potter. They were murdered by Lord Voldemort, also known as Tom Riddle, while defending their son, Harry. Harry lived on due to the selfless acts of his parents. James confronted Lord Voldemort defending his family and was struck down. Lily put herself in between Lord Voldemort and her son and too paid with her life. However, it is because of these acts that we were lucky enough to experience the story of Harry Potter's young life. His story began when theirs ended. R.I.P Lily and James Potter.
